Ann Coulter Plans to Speak at UC Berkeley Despite Recent Ban
In the latest instance of Leftist censorship, UC Berkeley has decided to cancel Ann Coulter's speaking event.
The campus that is the home of the historical free speech movement, UC Berkeley, has banned conservative commentator and author Ann Coulter, citing security threats.
According to Young America’s Foundation, student organizers of an upcoming Ann Coulter event at the university were emailed by Berkeley administrators who claimed they were unable to “find a safe suitable venue” for Coulter.
Auburn University tried cancelling Richard Spencer's speech in a nearly identical manner. Undeterred, Richard, along with the help of Sam Dixon, sued Auburn – and won.
Ann has made it clear that she is not giving up, and I have confidence that she, too, will win.
We cannot allow the Left to deny us a platform. Radical Leftists used free speech to obtain power; and now that they have power, they are using it to shut down free speech, correctly understanding that such a freedom benefits us and not them.
As such, any victory for free speech is a victory for the Alt-Right.
