Japanese officials have confirmed that a huge dock that washed ashore on the Oregon coast is debris from last year’s tsunami.[It originated] in Misawa, a northern Japanese city.
The 66-foot-long structure — 7 feet tall and 19 feet wide — was first reported offshore Monday and made landfall late Tuesday or early Wednesday morning.
