How Sweden went from success to disaster through immigration

It is said that only two things are certain in life: Death and taxes. If you live in Sweden however, taxes are more certain than death.
The Swedish National Institute of Economic Research released a report recently that goes against everything the Swedish government has claimed over the last forty years: Taxes will need to be increased to finance Sweden’s immigration policy. At roughly the same time, Statistics Sweden released a report which showed that immigrants in Sweden are the laziest in Europe when it comes to work.
You see, one of the major reasons given by the government as to why we take in so many “refugees”, is because apparently, we suddenly need them to secure our pensions when we grow old (although they secretly hope we die due to work overload long before retirement) and that they are an economic investment.
A timeline of the mass immigration disaster
Just to make an overview, I have put together a list below that tracks the Swedish government reasons for mass-immigration in chronological order.
* We have loads of jobs, let’s bring in immigrants to boost our economy! (70s – 80s)
As it turned out, many of these immigrants were already middle-aged and went into retirement early. Result = Net loss.
* Okay, so maybe we don’t have jobs, but when the next generation retires, we need more immigrants to fill out the void left by dying Swedes! (90s – early 00s)
Problem here was that the next generation, by and large, had already retired. And so the “void” never happened because, you know… Swedes reproduce and have children of their own. Result = Huge net loss. Social trust begins to decline.
* Okay okay, the problem is that we are too racist against the rocket scientists and the neurosurgeons who come here for work. If we just can get them to start working, our economy will soar. (early 00s – 10s)
There never were any surgeons and scientists in the first place. Lots of camel herders though. Result = Insane net loss. Social trust falling apart. Crime rising sharply.
* Fine! But now we HAVE to take in these immigrants and refugees, because that’s our humanitarian duty! (10s – ongoing)
Duty, schmuty. The majority are young men, seeking fortune and women in Europe under the pretense of being refugees with no intention of ever contributing to society. And why would they? Result = Catastrophic net loss. Huge feelings of distrust and crime running rampant.
Obviously there’s much more to the consequences than this, but it’s the gist of it.
It will be interesting to see what excuse is up next. I’m going to guess aliens because… you know, might happen.
