Milo Yiannopoulos Resigns from Breitbart
Milo announced his resignation from Breitbart on Tuesday afternoon. The former editor-in-chief has recently come under fire from all sides after his previous statements on pederasty and sexual abuse were thrown into the spotlight.
In a press conference today, Milo defended himself against the many accusations currently leveled at him. He outlined his history as a victim of sexual abuse, and claimed that some of his statements on the subject have been misrepresented.
Milo clarified that he does not, in fact, support lowering the age of consent, and that he does not advocate for any illegal behavior. This is unsurprising; from a public relations perspective, saying anything else would constitute career suicide.
The flamboyant Alt-Light celebrity did make a good point, though: the media attack against Milo is being done for political reasons, and the people involved probably are not too concerned with pedophilia and sexual abuse.
Toward the end of the press conference, Milo announced his plans to launch a new media venture, in addition to an upcoming college tour.
