People Of Colour From Around The World Respond To “White”
BuzzFeed is at it again! For those unaware, this American media outlet has been pumping out degenerate videos at a truly impressive rate. They’ve been gracious enough to provide us with such enlightening gems as “Who Would Straight Men ‘Go Gay for?” and “Straight Conversion Therapy,” in addition to a number of videos showcasing indignant minorities whining about white people.
One of their more recent videos, titled “People Of Colour From Around The World Respond To White," features a number of minorities sharing their perspectives on whiteness. The video begins with a simple question: when you hear the word “white,” what comes to mind? Multiple non-whites are then briefly shown appearing completely exasperated and unable to answer the question – presumably because the mere mention of the word “white” triggers an overwhelmingly negative emotional reaction.
The title of this video certainly worth noting. While these people of colour did in fact come from different parts of the world, they all live – and likely grew up in – white countries. When viewed in this light, the video becomes less about how these individuals feel about whiteness, and more about their experiences as being minorities. For example, Angeline, an Aboriginal woman, associated whiteness with controlling figures, and indeed authority in general. Another woman, Amrita, defined whiteness as a set of way of being or thinking.
The video also features a multiethnic boy from Australia, Mirrabee, reciting rather dutifully from what was undoubtedly a prewritten script. He associates the word “white” with a lack of understanding and a failure to acknowledge events that happened in the past. Judging from the fact that his ancestry is partially Aboriginal, I’m going to go out on a limb and assume that he was referring to colonization.
One of my biggest gripes with anti-whites is their inability to acknowledge the benefits that have resulted from contact with Europeans. I would never make the claim that colonization had no adverse effects upon those subjected to it; however, for the sake of objectivity it must be noted that colonization skyrocketed many peoples through millennia of technological, scientific, and medical progression. And nowhere else is this as true as in Australia, whose indigenous peoples remained hunter-gatherers up until – and in some cases, well after – the arrival of Europeans. People who whine incessantly about white people seem to have no qualms about reaping the rewards that come from living in a white society, such as Western medicine, computers, the Internet, television, and so forth.
This video also illustrates the absurd double standard that exists in contemporary discussions on race. Can you imagine the outrage if BuzzFeed released a video featuring white people sharing their negative reactions to the word “black?” Whereas whites who make politically incorrect remarks concerning members of another race are thoroughly lambasted, one can say virtually whatever he or she wants about white people without repercussions. For example, iTunes has removed numerous alt-right podcasts for “hate speech,” yet apparently sees nothing wrong with songs titled “Kill Whitey.”
As with many liberal arguments, this video makes a better case against multiculturalism than it does against racism, “white privilege,” or whatever else it sought to address. Life as a minority entails conforming to the standards of the dominant majority. We used to call this “assimilation.” For example, European immigrants to America adopted the societal norms of their new country while still maintaining the traditions and customs of their homeland. The issue today is that the concept of assimilation is problematic for leftist intelligentsia and the international elite; expecting immigrants and minorities to assimilate to the societal norms of the white majority would impede the ongoing efforts to make Western civilization less homogeneous by replacing ethnic Europeans with non-white immigrants. And it’s no secret that multiculturalism and diversity lead to lower levels of trust and civic participation.
As such, it is vital that we resist mass immigration, multiculturalism, and diversity – no matter how fervently they are pushed upon us. We must also be aware of the ongoing attack on white identity, and recognize that “anti-racist” is code for “anti-white.” Due to the aforementioned double standard, political correctness is inherently anti-white, and its promoters will not rest until ethnic Europeans are completely disenfranchised – politically, culturally, economically, and physically. They prey upon our compassion by attempting to make us feel guilty for wrongdoings – either real or perceived – committed by our ancestors. Most civilizations conquered and practiced slavery, as human history is mostly the competition between peoples for land and resources; such is the nature of existence in this world.
Therefore, let us be adamant in exposing anti-white sentiment wherever it arises. The very future of both Western civilization and the European race depends on it!
