Surgery scheduled for Thursday
After years of legal battles over a Palm Beach County boy's circumcision, the surgery is scheduled for Thursday. A peaceful protest was held Wednesday morning outside the hospital.
Last month the 4-year-old mother Heather Hironimus was in tears as she signed a consent form allowing the boy's father to go ahead with the circumcision.
According to a Facebook page set up by supports of the boy and his mother, protesters gathered at 11 a.m. at Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in Hollywood.
