Tommy Robinson Arrested While Covering Grooming Gang Trial, UK Gov Silences Press with Gag Order
British activist Tommy Robinson was arrested Friday morning outside a courthouse for "breach of the peace" for livestreaming the court cases of ten men accused of participating in "child grooming gangs," aka child rape gangs.
From the Evening Standard:
English Defence League founder Tommy Robinson claimed he was arrested for breach of the peace outside a courthouse in Leeds.
The right wing activist was streaming a Facebook live video outside Leeds Crown Court, where a grooming trial is reportedly underway, on Friday morning.
Robinson, real name Stephen Lennon, can be seen being led towards the back of a police van and searched in footage posted to his Facebook page.
He can be heard saying: "I'm being arrested? I am being arrested...I'm 'causing a breach of peace'...I'm being arrested for breaching the peace."
...Officers can be seen leading Mr Robinson into the back of a police van while reading him his rights.

I just heard from @Lauren_Southern that the man who left bacon at the mosque's door was killed in prison. Checked it & it's true. We heard about him being sentenced to 12 months, but they didn't report his murder. Worried 4 Tommy#TommyRobinson #FreeTommy pic.twitter.com/bI56AO57EP
