Cultural Revolution: Walmart, Amazon and eBay to ban Confederate merchandise

Well, it seems that a lot of uninformed people propelled by mass media, are jumping on the bandwagon, that once again is headed nowhere.

Through out history governments have used similar tragedies to ban historical symbols, ideas, references, and even books. This is a fine example of how the masses are given feel good, do nothing, "solutions" to very real problems.

Amazon confirmed that it will pull "Confederate flag merchandise" from the website Tuesday afternoon, about an hour after eBay banned sales and auctions of similar stuff.

Sales of the flags were skyrocketing at Amazon at the time of the announcement. At the time of publication, a cheapo polyester Confederate battle flag remains the top seller in the site's flag category, knocking the ever-popular Swastika into second place.

The sudden revulsion at the flag follows last week's killing of nine people by white supremacist Dylann Roof, who has been charged with the murders and returned to South Carolina to face trial.
