’gutPOD’ Transforms Mad Musical Scientist Into Walking Jukebox

Fredrik Hjelmquist, owner of the Pause audio equipment store in Stockholm, harbors a "mad passion" for unique, custom sound systems, and he recently decided to take that form into untouched, virgin territory. The territory? Down his gullet. Hjelmquist reportedly ingested a custom-designed ’gutPOD’ wireless receiver, which transformed his abdomen into a walking human jukebox.
Interested observers, or horrified rubberneckers, could actually choose Hjelmquist’s embedded playlist from the official Human Jukebox website. The internal stereo experiment was apparently deemed a success, but the tunes (Gloria Gaynor’s ’I Will Survive’ and the Village People’s ’YMCA’) tapered out after approximately three hours. Although Hjelmquist called the sound quality "very bad," he did express satisfaction that the belly beatbox had actually operated effectively.
In speaking about sound systems, he asserted, "Size doesn’t matter; it’s all about smartness." But, judging from the size of the gutPOD capsule (and the necessary laxative bottle), it’s certainly going to "smart" when Hjelmquist finally drops the monstrosity. [Ed. note: Yuk yuk YUCK.]
