Performer Demands Whites Move Back, Give Seats to ‘Minorities’
Imagine a world where Rosa Parks would be accused of “overt racism” for not giving up her seat on a bus to a white passenger.
That’s precisely the world being ushered in by the progressive left and other disciples of critical race theory, who attack those who will not acquiesce to misguided attempts to segregate and otherwise discriminate against those who are different.
Case in point, a white volunteer photographer at a music festival in Halifax, Canada, found herself at the center of a sh*t storm when performer Lido Pimienta demanded that she move to the back of the room because she was Caucasian.

The singer regularly invites “brown girls to the front” at her gigs and white people are expected to give up their seats, according to the National Post. In the case of the white photographer, she was standing near the stage to take photos — hello? — but Pimienta insisted she move to the back for no other reason than the color of her skin.
“She just kept saying, ‘Move to the back,'” a member of the audience said of Pimienta.
“Finally after saying it about 10 times — and the woman refused to move — [she] said, ‘You are cutting into my set time and you are disrespecting these women, and I don’t have time for this.’”

Taking the progressive idiocy to a whole other level was the reaction of the Halifax Pop Explosion music festival.
Calling the racist singer a “role model,” the festival apologized for the volunteer’s “overt racism.” The board also promised in a statement to improve “anti-oppression and anti-racism training” next year to prevent Pimienta from being “interrupted.”
The statement serves as not only an embarrassment to humanity, but a prime example of the end result of unchecked liberalism.
“Be responsible for your friends – talk to them and support them as they move towards unpacking their racism,” the festival declared. “People of Colour deserve safe spaces and it is your responsibility to help. It is also ours.”
Pimienta was defiant in response to the controversy: “I’ve been doing it for long and I’m not going to stop!”
My show at @HalifaxPopX still has some people riled up/angry at me. The gag is that I’ve been doing it for long and I’m not going to stop! pic.twitter.com/yCk8pkWnMT

Interestingly, her social media footprint shows she’s all but obsessed with targeting white people:
Judging from your twitter posts you're a straight up racist. pic.twitter.com/KijaBK5d32

Here’s a sampling of other responses to the performer flipping the tables when it comes to racism:
Volunteer was asked to move to the back purely for being “white”. Refusing to do so is racism?

Who wants to tell Rosa Parks she’s a racist? https://t.co/UWRwLr7Y5Q
How is this any different than asking Rosa parks to move to the back of the bus?

Performer requests audience segregate according to skin color, with whites at the back. A volunteer photographer refuses, organizers apologize to performer....for RACISM. The Enlightenment is over.... https://t.co/FZfKXh91Zr

Lido Pimienta seems like a racist sociopath. The Halifax Music Fest'l should be ashamed for accepting her racism. I feel for the volunteer.

Back in the day white racists thought they were justified too. Now @LidoPimienta you're justifying your racism. It's still racism. https://t.co/pWHhIhF0FA

I am appalled at what I just read that you did at your concert. Equality for all. Lead by example not with revenge. You narcissistic racist.

This is unbelievable, and it's somehow reported without a tinge of irony. Our world is insane. https://t.co/KClKW4xKpE

You should apologize *for* the actions of @LidoPimienta. Not *to* her. And so should she.
