Pro-Sanctuary City Judge Rules for Ex-Clients
Judge William Orrick, who on Tuesday blocked a Trump executive order cutting funding to sanctuary cities, has previously abused his position to rule on a favorable settlement for an unscrupulous former bank client.
As part of his previous service to the Democratic agenda, not only has Orrick unconstitutionally, in 2015, blocked the release of the infamous Planned Parenthood videos; but bundled $200,000 to elect Obama in 2008.
Naturally, a backscratcher in his own right, subsequent to the bundling Obama had Orrick made a federal judge.
Earlier, in 2012, Orrick allowed First Bank of Delaware (FBD), his client when he had been an Obama-boosting defense attorney, to fork over a paltry $500,000 for the bank’s role in an electronic check scheme. That was even after the Justice Department had forced the bank also in 2012 to pay $15 million for extensive fraud.
While an attorney with Coblentz, Patch, Duffy & Bass in 2007, Orrick helped FBD fight off accusations in San Francisco Superior Court that the bank had colluded with payday lenders to fleece Californians.
