Santa Barbara gunman Elliot Rodger said he would be targeting white women: "blonde sluts"

Over the weekend the narcissistic nut Elliot Rodger, 22, went on a rampage in California, stabbing three people to death at his apartment and shooting to death three more before ending his own life, news reports detail. He was specifically targeting what he called "blonde sluts."
His violent actions allegedly stemmed from a lifelong struggle with mental illness, sexual frustration and a difficult school life. This was exacerbated with a desire to hurt those who hurt him the most - especially blonde women who rejected his advances. His plans for retribution were laid out in various Youtube videos, with chilling threats: "I will slaughter every single spoilt, stuck-up, blonde s*** that I see".
His father is Peter Rodger, British assistant director on the film “The Hunger Games.” The movie details kids killing kids in an annual televised death match. His mother was Malaysian (Chinese).

’I will slaughter every single blonde s*** I see’: Lonely killer posted chilling video warning of ’retribution’ because he was still a virgin at age 22
By Associated Press and Alex Greig | MailOnline
The gunman who went on a drive-by shooting rampage in a student enclave that left seven people dead had posted a chilling video warning of ’retribution’ because he was still a virgin aged 22.
Elliot Rodger, who was driving a black BMW, is believed to have acted alone in the shootings at about 9:30pm on Friday night in Isla Vista near the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Now, authorities are examining a video posted on social media by the shooter - called ’Elliot Rodger’s Retribution’ - in which he rants about women who supposedly rejected his advances.
The Santa Barbara City College student unleashes a tirade about his ’loneliness, rejection and unfulfilled desires’, blaming women for preferring ’obnoxious brutes’ to him, ’the supreme gentleman’.
’I’m 22 years old and I’m still a virgin. I’ve never even kissed a girl,’ he says in the video.
’College is the time when everyone experiences those things such as sex and fun and pleasure. But in those years I’ve had to rot in loneliness. It’s not fair. You girls have never been attracted to me.
’I don’t know why you girls aren’t attracted to me. But I will punish you all for it,’ he says in the video, which runs to almost seven minutes. He promises to ’punish’ women and lays out a ’retribution’ plan.
’Yes... After I have annihilated every single girl in the sorority house I will take to the streets of Isla Vista and slay every single person I see there. All those popular kids who live such lives of hedonistic pleasure...’
His YouTube account contains numerous other videos in which Rodger talks of his loneliness and anger at the women he says snub him.
Rodger’s family called police several weeks ago after being alarmed by YouTube videos ’regarding suicide and the killing of people,’ a lawyer said yesterday.
Police interviewed Rodger and found him to be a ’perfectly polite, kind and wonderful human,’ family attorney Alan Shifman said.

Rodger was a website forum called PUAHate.com, which describes itself as the ’Anti-Pickup-Artist Movement’ and aims to reveal ’the scams, deception, and misleading marketing techniques used by dating gurus and the seduction community to deceive men and profit from them.’
Its members are all men who have spent a lot of time and money on books and seminars and other materials that claim to help men ’pick-up’ women - but failed.
He posted in 2013, ’If you could release a virus that would kill every single man on Earth, except for yourself because you would have the antidote, would you do it? You will be the only man left, with all the females. You would be able to have your pick of any beautiful woman you want, as well as having dealt vengeance on the men who took them from you. Imagine how satisfying that would be.’
Rodger’s actions have been lauded on the site by other members who have called him a ’hero.’

Video Rant, Then Deadly Rampage in California Town
By Ian Lovett and Adam Nagourney | NYTimes
[...]Barely 24 hours before the killing spree, Mr. Rodger, a student at Santa Barbara City College, had posted a video on YouTube in which he sat behind the steering wheel of his black BMW and for seven minutes recounted the isolation and sexual frustrations of his life, pausing for an occasional self-mocking laugh.
The gunman is believed to be Elliot Rodger, 22, who in a YouTube video said he was sexually frustrated and about to go on “a mission of retribution.”
He spoke of the women who rejected him, the happiness he saw around him, and his life as a virgin at the age of 22. He called his message “Elliot Rodger’s Retribution,” and said it was the last video he would post.
“It all has to come to this,” Mr. Rodger says, his voice at once placid and chilling. “Tomorrow is the day of retribution. The day I will have my retribution against humanity. Against all of you. For the last eight years of my life, ever since I hit puberty, I’ve been forced to endure an existence of loneliness, rejection and unfulfilled desires. All because girls have never been attracted to me. In those years I’ve had to rot in loneliness.”
“I do not know why you girls aren’t attracted to me,” he said, “But I will punish you all for it.”
On Friday, at 9:27 p.m. in this town just north of Santa Barbara, the police said that Mr. Rodger started what turned out to be the second part of his revenge, which began shortly after he left his apartment, the first of the 12 crime scenes along Mr. Rodger’s route.
Witnesses said they saw three body bags being taken out from the apartment complex; the police said all three victims had been stabbed multiple times. Sheriff Bill Brown of Santa Barbara County described it as “a pretty horrific crime scene.”
In addition to the video, Mr. Rodger had prepared a 141-page manifesto laying out his plan for the killings, starting with luring potential victims to his apartment.
“We have obtained and are analyzing written and videotaped evidence that suggests that this atrocity was a premeditated mass murder,” Sheriff Brown said.
Mr. Rodger’s decision to target young women — in his video, he spoke bitterly of “stuck-up blonde” women who had refused his advances, preferring the “obnoxious young brutes” he saw walking on the beach or the tree-lined campus — was particularly chilling. This was what should have been a festive Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of summer; instead, the day was filled with images of women sobbing. In one case, a young woman recounted how a bullet had narrowly missed her head.
