A U.K. college diversity officer’s utopia would include no white men – after they are all executed.
An employee of Goldsmiths University of London’s independent students’ union was arrested in London Tuesday and charged with sending a menacing or offensive messages via a public network for her “#killallwhitemen” tweets.
Bahar Mustafa, 28, faces one charge each for electronic communications she sent over social media on Nov. 10, 2014, and May 31, 2015, the Washington Times reported Tuesday.
“A woman interviewed under caution regarding a complaint of racially motivated malicious communication made on a social media network has been summonsed to court,” Metropolitan police spokesman said in a statement, the newspaper reported.
Mustafa, a resident of of Edmonton, North London, last made news in April when she asked white people not to attend college events geared towards minority students.
“Invite loads of BME [black and minority ethnic] Women and non-binary people! Also, if you’ve been invited and you’re a man and/or white PLEASE DON’T COME just cos i [sic] invited a bunch of people and hope you will be responsible enough to respect this is a BME Women and non-binary event only,” Mustafa wrote on her Facebook page April 15.
When students called her racist, she responded, “Racism and sexism describe structures of privilege based on race and gender and therefore women of color and minority genders cannot be racist or sexist, since we do not stand to benefit from such a system,” the Independent reported Tuesday.
Mustafa has a Bromley Magistrates’ Court appearance scheduled for Nov. 5, the Guardian reported.
