One State, Two State, Three State… No State.
Proponents of the One State Solution to the conflict advocate a single state in Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip, which includes citizenship and equal rights for all inhabitants regardless of ethnicity or religion.
This option has at least some genuine grounding, as there are already 1.2 million Palestinian residents living within Israeli borders. If Israelis were to integrate all of Palestine together with Israel into a single state, then Christian and Muslim Palestinians would out number Jewish Israeli voters, so from an Israeli point of view, such a democracy would be unacceptable.
