Why I own a Confederate flag

Editor of havasunews.com:

I find this issue with the confederate battle flag quite disturbing. Juan Williams from Fox News said it was a symbol of hate. Really? To who was that hatred directed? To the slaves? No. At the time, whether you like it or not, slaves were a legal commodity.

So where is the “hate” directed? You don’t think the hatred was directed to the north, do you? If you look at our history, the north put the screws to the south.

The north restricted the south from exporting to other countries. And what the north made and sold to the south was taxed to the point of being unaffordable. So, if the flag is a symbol of hate, then tell the whole truth, the hatred was towards the north. Which is why I own one. I am no fan of the north — in this case, Washington D.C, who is putting the screws to all of us.
